Ooh, I've made this drive many a time myself. Going under the lakes might be faster, but so lame. It's called the Trans-Canada for a reason you know.

Made it!

flew home last night.

Spent the night at some amazing hot springs in the Alberta Rockies near Jasper:

Driving across Saskatchewan was the longest day of my life.

Winnipeg was rad. I would so move there, even with the daunting winters.

South Dakota was a shit-hole and the dudes working the border crossing were complete fuck-holes. Ripped through our entire car and my clothes were strewn from the trunk to the front dashboard. I am never going back.

DDD was a peach and a half during our overnight stay. I didn't want to leave. Twin cities, hell all of Minnesota, you are A-ok in my books. <3

Wisconsin was a lovely drive and I need to go back and explore it thoroughly another time.

No time to party in Chicago, spent that day entertaining a pair of 5 year old twin cousins of my beau's. whew, That just moved my "must have kids by" age back to 33. not ready yet maaaannn.
Dude at the mall asked me out to da club right in front of my fiance (y)

indiana/michigan are a blur.

I hate Ontario.

And of course Montreal was lovely as always.

We probably listened to ccr at some point, not gonna lie. Mostly listened to CBC/NPR stations on the radio.
Jesus, there are some scary conservative american radio talk shows, you can barely get away from them.
We have none of that shit in Canada except for perhaps a dude or two in Alberta.
Oh and american bill-boards scare me. not a fan.

This was one of a few songs that will always remind of this trip because we listened to it so many times:

it was more their content than the size.
