It's about time

I'm on vacation now, it's kickin' some serious ass. I just got back from Ohio last night, I got to visit all my family and friends and also, all of my family and friends got to see my daughter for the first time.

My wife and daughter bonded so easily, I swear to god, my wife turned into a 6 year old after playing with my daughter.

..and this wasn't meant to be a thread yet. I was still typing and accidentally hit the post thread thingy.

So my ex dropped my daughter off to me in Manhattan last week to start my vacation and my daughter had gained some serious weight since I last saw her in December.

I was very happy to see my daughter but overwhelmed by the weight she had put on. I didn't make a scene of it or anything, I just kinda gave my ex the WTF eye.

My ex starts with the usual, "she'll eat a whole kids meal plus 6 mcnuggets" which kinda set me off because she always tries to pull it off as if my daughter is pulling up to the drive thru on her own will.

Anyway, I took my daughter to many places around NY for the first time and took her to Ohio afterward where we all swam, went to an indoor pool and a couple other places.

The whole time the wife and I were making sure that my daughter ate healthy- lots of fish, vegetables and fruits and my daughter lost at least 5 or 6 pounds during the 8 day stay she had with us.

I dropped my daughter off to my ex in Oklahoma yesterday and my ex instantly noticed the weight loss.
