It was nice of her to thumb through the pages of the actual bill, but it was pretty embarrassing for her when she couldn't find the pages that supposedly back up her claims.

This link seems to be better since there's THREE parts instead of just two parts over at Salon.com

The way she presents it makes it seem like all of us will be under the rules. Its an option and people that are in a panic don't seem to understand it. It won't be perfect, just like my health care insurance isn't.
She lost me when she came out and mentioned how many pages are in the bill like its a huge monster. Same tactic when Hillary had her "big binder." Apparently this country is small enough and health care isn't really complicated so that it should be presented in a pretty blue plastic cover with a slide binder and only a few pages like a book report. "Here you go simple America, 5 pages of ofering a health care option to millions of americans."
Lame.

She made a few comments about Stewart himself that made me squirm a bit, but I don't think it was intentional. I don't think this was a total beat down but she came off a bit foolish with her paranoid accusations. Stewart went a little easy on her, I think.

She is a bizarre human, very dishonest and her Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betsy_McCaughey) says she is affiliated with the Hudson Institute. Not that it's a crime, but the "Experts (http://www.hudson.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=find_an_expert)" on health care (of which she is not) are Bush Cronies. The opposition to the Democratic party.
So here she is on TV and in the media lying to the Nation (as she did in the nineties) with 47 million uninsured humans health care being in the balance.
WTF sort of horrible human is she? I mean c'mon... how far does ones mind have to go before it grasps her twisted agenda?
