I really like Jim, I really do. But being how I have never seen any big time, non-local comics do shows at real theaters, I don't know if this warrants that kind of change.

Can anyone vouch for his live show?

that is crazy expensive. I just saw maria bamford a couple weeks ago and it was only $22, but actually free to me because cordo is on some kind of VIP list because she's in the t.v. business.

I guess gaffigan is more famous. still, 42 bucks is lame balls. I wouldn't pay it.

I don't know, I mean think about it, skip two nights out at the bar to go to the show? Not bad.

alotta comedy clubs have a 2 drink minimum as well, so make sure you check up on that as well. that is, if it's at a club and not a larger venue.

'tis the truth m'dear. last couple stand-up shows I went to certainly enforced such a requirement.

still sort of considering this, being that my night life outside of going to shows is pretty stale. but i have enough trouble getting people to go with me to a $15 concert let alone a pricey comedy show.

but, i should probably halt my spending a bit before i get myself into trouble....

we went to jim's show last summer and it was well worth the money. i think we paid more than $42 even. i had seen his comedy central show several times and still cried with laughter the entire show...

Only been to one comedy show ever. Saw Kevin Hart and Demetri Martin at my buddy's school for like 5 bucks. His friend worked the show and had us stick around and we met Kevin Hart and talked to him for a couple minutes which was pretty cool.

I would love to go on a date with you but Jim Gaffigan does not deserve my 42 dollars.
