...about how things have changed since Yauch’s announcement. We would have only been a couple of weeks away from the new album, would have heard and seen the song/video for the first official single, maybe too many rappers video as well, all the magazines would have been running their interviews and reviews about now and the message boards would have been going wild with topics... we’ve got all this to come once Yauch makes a full recovery, but before Yauch’s announcement, September seemed a long way off... like I said, just a thought.

Yes this situation gets me down. Fortunately we all have this to look forward to. I bet once Yauch gets better the band will be so happy that the HSC release will be even bigger and better than we could have ever imagined :)

It truly will be a glorious time, on all accounts!

The excitement will be beyond belief in a time where people download an mp3 and digest it in a week, discard it and act like it never even happened. Our favourite band leaves a lasting legacy and this one will be something -- I can feel it.

I'd be good with two new HSC songs on a 7" in my IC deluxe vinyl package next week.

Or this could be the beginning of the end?
Fortunately that is an unlikely possibility due to the latest half-life calculations from the newly discovered 119th element
B.E.A.S.T.I.E.N.E.(Boys Entering Anarchistic States Toward Internal Excellence with No Expiry) in the official Periodic Table of Elements (http://www.webelements.com/).
Below is the description currently being formulated by Noble Prize Winning Particle Physicists that are currently working in a secret laboratory deep beneath the Large Hadron Collider (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_Hadron_Collider):
ELEMENT 119
Experiments conducted by European Organization for Nuclear Research from Dubna Russia in conjunction with the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions (by workers from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Russia and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the USA) indicate that element 119 (beastiene, Bea) was produced. Not too much though, just two adams and a trace of michael. Actual dates are top secret and the latest formulations of Bea will be unleashed within 12 months (called HSC).
Table: basic information about and classifications of beastiene.
Name: Beastiene
Symbol: Bea
Atomic number: 119
Atomic weight: [ featherweight ]
Standard state: presumably a gas at hot temps [K]
CAS Registry ID: 54144-19-4
Group in periodic table: 18
Group name: Noble group
Period in periodic table: 7
Block in periodic table: Block party masters
Colour: Unknown, but probably colourless
Classification: Non-metal
Isolation
As of 2009, the table contains 119 chemical elements whose discoveries have been confirmed. Ninety-four are found naturally on Earth, and the rest are synthetic elements that have been produced artificially in particle accelerators (e.g., Element 119, Bea). All elements greater than 83 (bismuth), beginning with 84 (polonium) have no stable isotopes. The atomic mass of each of these element's isotope having the longest half-life is typically reported on periodic tables with parentheses. Isotopes of elements 119, first discovered synthetically, have since been discovered in trace amounts on Earth as products of a naturally occurring Quasar (http://www.beastiemania.com/whois/quasar/).

I would like to see them live on tour by christmas....anyone else think this possible?
That would be nice but I think (gut feeling) that they will delay warm up shows until 2010. Though a cool video by Christmas seems possible and a reasonable wish. It is on my wishlist to Santa just after "Yauch gets better and becomes fitter than an Ox" :)
