A lot of hype has been going on Eminem's verse on 'Forever'. As much as I'm not into Drake's and Wayne's verses, the hook, and the beat. Eminem's flow and delivery really made up for everything that was lacking in the song.

That being said. What is your favorite 16 that has been spit this year?

I'm gonna say Em's 2nd verse on 'Insane' has got the most "rewind/playback" out of any other song so far this year.

What's yours?

Freck Billionaire's had a couple of sporadic verses here and there that had some rewind value to them, but no whole verses. I'm standing by the Em verse on Forever. That leaked "Topless" verse T.I. did for Dre was kinda nice too.

Overall, I can't think of anything all that great in '09. Slaughterhouse got tired real fast and I'm not that crazy about Drake, Big Sean or Mickey Factz etc.

If I could do the last few years, I would say that there was a tie between Andre 3000 on The Art Of Storytellin' Pt.4 and Andre 3000 on Intn'l Player's Anthem

I know this may get shat on but I like Luda's guest verse on that Chamillionaire song ("Keep it on The Low? - I dunno the name).

Anyways, I like it. Luda's best work is never on his albums.

Andre's second verse on 'Aquemini' is bullshit good, and his verse on Devin the Dude's 'What Job' is incredible, too. Are we talking strictly 16 bars?

I was thinking 16 bars or one verse. But, Kid... Dowhatchalike.

I mean one of the verses I mentioned is years old, not very complex, but so well delivered. He's really your favourite rapper's favourite rapper.

Aquemini (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pjHlizcXI8) Andre's second is nuts.

Technically it was last year but Elzhi's verse on Motown 25 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGwAs0GiKNc) is nuts.

DOOM - Microwave Mayo (opening verse)

Pulled "Born Like This" back out today on the way to work. I really don't understand why more hip hop fans don't hype this track. Beat is decent, but the rhymes are so so good. I still love this track.

"Hard core porn...did his own stunts...writ his own rhymes...and split his own blunts..once..in a while...every other minute. Eyes pop out, popeye, heavy on the spinach."

If I "writ" some shit like that, I'd print a t-shirt that said "greatest mc alive" and rock that shit errday.

I wanted to love it, but DOOM seems to just pastiche some clumsy nonsequiturs together to force the rhyme on 75% of it. How dope now toke a foul smoke wow don't cows joke without hope chk blaow nope. Album was crazy slack. Short tracks, old beats, lazy rhymes. The mic even pops on a few of them shits, like it was mastered by high-schoolers.

I love Cellz and Gazillion Ear, and Supervillainz has a weird charm about it. I dunno. I wanted to love it, you know that. I don't listen to more than 5 songs off any given DOOM album at a time these days.
