So I've been glancing at this report - not sure how old it is but makes interesting reading. But its 64 pages long pdf report but scroll to the bottom for the index.

The index combines environmental impact with human well-being to measure the environmental efficiency with which, country by country, people live long and happy lives

UK, is a miserable country but is 74th and the optimistic USA is 114th which most of us live. But both are still way below places like Burma (39th), Bangladesh (31st), Saudi Arabia (13th)... I could go on. Costa Rica is top.

Mexico is 90 places above the states (23rd), which makes me wonder why americans aren't trying to run the border over there. There is a few surprises in there. Like I expected Nepal to be higher 37th when China is 20th.

I've only been looking at this 10 minutes and thought I would post here in case some1 else has an interest in these things?

I think a lot of us have dreams of jumping country (like me to the states) but it makes me wonder, if the more I research it the more I might change my mind to where.

anyway...

coool. I always imagine Echewta to be some kind of animal like a gopher with chewbacca features.
