yay or nay?
I'm kinda into it and kinda not. the new boy's into it big time, but it's kinda awkward because his hand is so much bigger than mine. and my hand gets all sweaty. but it's also super cute and makes me feel funny in my pants. :o
do you think I could spray antiperspirant in my palm or something? have him hold my wrist? that might be too weird, like he's apprehended me.
I don't know, I have work to do, stop asking so many questions!

we try that, but his fingers are big so it's uncomfortable for me to sustain.
I think the only solution is for me to walk in front of him while he holds on to my belt loops.

I love hand-holding. My only grievance is that since I'm short, I usually have to bend my arm to reach the boy's hand if we're holding hands while walking. I can't extend my arm and swing comfortably, but that's a small price to pay for such a sweet interaction.
I also enjoy holding hands with my lady friends. :o

I like it but my hands sweat easily. So do his though. We are understanding and we will take a break from hand holding to around the hip holding.
It's nice. I like it. Sometimes I even just lock my arm in his and walk behind him a little bit so I can rest my head against the back of his shoulder. It sounds awkward and uncomfortable but I promise you, it's comfy, and we stay close that way and I like that when it's cold out. :o

yeah, I'm shortish I guess, and I have long monkey arms, so I have to bend a bit. it's not too bad, we can do the swinging thing if we step apart a little.
I do like to smash my face into his shoulder at times, it's fun.
I'm so gay for this kid. jesus christ.

I like to hold hands whenever I can, the unfortunate thing is my hand looks just like a penis and balls.

i tend to walk with my hands in my front pockets most of the time, it's just comfortable to me, so she'll just kind of hold on to my arm, but the holding hands doesn't bother me or anything.

ha, I like that part. we walked around my neighborhood the other day, went to the coffee shop and the farmers market and I was like, "omg, all these people think we're a couple!"
I suppose after being alone for so long, it's kinda fun.

I think some people just like to be close to each other, and that means touching. When walking, holding hands is one of the easiest ways to do so.
At least, that's why I like it.
We get a lot of compliments which is weird. "I love seeing young couples in love", "Aw, love birds", "So in love!"
We just kind of smile awkwardly.

Actually, there's a medical procedure to solve this "hand sweating" problem. I know a girl who did it. I don't know how it works though.

I think it involves botox.I know people can have their armpits botoxed to stop with the sweating.

It must be annoying, because holding your lady's hand is one of the best things you can do.

Like, LITERALY DIE. On the moon there is no air, what a nutbag. He sounds wrong for you.
Now I have to scroll back and see if anyone beat me to this awful joke. Too much effort for no laugh, but I still have to do it.

Dorothy, I know you are an intelligent and capable person. I have seen your skills of insight and perception at work in the political forum, and I have witnessed your ability to dissect (if not ravage) an opposing perspective and offer a coherent and rational rebuttal. You express yourself well and defend your positions passionately. I like that. I respect that.
But for the love of god, girl. Holding hands. Holding hands? Really? Really? I just... there's some things that don't need to be picked apart. Right?

I'm more into arm-hooking than hand-holding. al la this sort of thing: http://evilbeetgossip.film.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/joshua_diane.jpg
I recently dated a guy who when I tried to do this he put his arm down and his hand against my thigh...which was not only akward but quiet an interesting body language signal..."ok I'll touch you, but you can't hold on to me." I pretty much knew that he wasn't going to go out with much longer at that point.
