Awesome! This brings me back to 1998 when the site was Hello Nasty based for the first time!
Good to see the space station again.

Why does the price of the Collectors edition vinyls go up with each one?
Check your Head was 84.98
Ill Communication was 89.98
Hello Nasty is 98.98
And I still think that Check Your Head was the nicest one so far. Why the high prices? I was on the fence about getting this one, since I got the other two, but with that price, I don't know.

adding the lenticular = higher production costs
adding patch + more vinyl/song = higher production cost
higher production costs = higher retail price.

and why the heck do they keep releasing them all so close to each other?!
Especially now when the times are the roughest! Well, maybe times are tough for the Beasties and they need all the money they can get,
but times are pretty tough for some fans as well, and as much as I'd like to get all those boxes, I just can't afford them!
At least Bowie's albums are re-released on the 30th anniversary, so there's always a year or two inbetween...

I really liked that they suggested coming together with more chord progressions and lyrics and such, like a 'band' would, during the Song for the Man commentary. I listened to that song with fresh ears today. That would be another stylistic fork in the road which I think could be very interesting for them, and I've sort of held out hope for it to happen ever since Hello Nasty (it's kind of what I thought TMU could have been).
I've actually been proper getting into Hello Nasty - I was always sour on it, but once you're reeled in with the superb opening three, then trapped in the Body Movin/Intergalactic tar-pit it's a pretty sweet way to drown from Sneakin out the Hospital through to Picture This. The end of the album is sort of weak, but I liked hearing how bugged they themselves thought the cuts were, really sold me on it, and as a whole piece of work it is indeed a pretty spectacular effort. Plus having spent all these years hating it, it's like a new album.
Interesting that during Sneakin out the Hospital they mentioned their 'tribute' to The Junkyard Band on the next album, too. If that was brand new exclusive hot shit Yauch commentary, then it was good to hear him. If it was one of the many Yauch stand-ins, my money is on it being Sergei.

Is anybody having trouble with the web site? I have tried to purchase it on three computers and no luck on any of them.

I am also having difficulty. Clicking on any of the order buttons does nothing.
Hopefully they get this fixed soon. I want the deluxe vinyl and immediate download access is nice too!

I'm pretty positive a screen will come up with a total before it charges your credit card.
