Licensed To Ill / To The 5 Boroughs Commentarys?

I think it's sad to see that the Hello Nasty commentary released today looks set to be the last download what with the reissued albums ending with Hello Nasty as far as I'm aware.

Was wondering if they'd considered recording and releasing a commentary for Licensed To Ill / To The 5 Boroughs just to round the sets off?

I think the Licensed To Ill one would be the most interesting to hear as I know they're partly ashamed of that era now as noted in their interviews since the 80's due to the controversal lyrics on the album.
Of course the main problem being all the Def Jam grief but afterall Mike D put the satin in their panties.

With the power of the internet they would be able to release a mp3 of them talking for 44:27 minutes with the tracks dubbed out and it wouldn't even need to be linked to this site, just dropped out on the net somewhere..

Anyway, I liked To The 5 Boroughs for what it was, a pure bang-out rap record and with a new president in office I'd like to hear their thoughts on this album now too.

Dunno why I writ all this really as they probably don't have any plan for them but just a thought...

Are they going to release a video version of HN commentary? And IC, I didn't see that one either come to think of it. :confused:

But yea, I would absolutely love to see License to Ill with some commentary, there's prob too much politics involved to do so though. GD def jam, the people want to know, lets hear it.

I'd do anything to hear commentary for LTI. Sadly, I don't think they will. It'd be absolutely amazing, tho. Plus, who's to say that they wont?? Have they come out and said that they wouldn't do it?? Maybe they are saving it for last, who knows?? The Beastie Boys have never said that they wont do commentary for LTI... so it could happen. Never know.

Also, the commentary for Hello Nasty... is this pre or post cancer for MCA?? Because if it's after he's had his surgery it's great to hear him in good spirits, and laughing.

They probably recorded all of the reissue commentaries at the same time
