Sometimes I love the times we live in. About 20 mins ago I was informed that his new album was out the other day so I hopped on itunes and downloaded it. I've not really heard anything other singles than bonkers but I was well aware that this sound is a new direction he seems to be going in.

iTunes comes with 3 videos and a interview about each track. Tbh, if I knew I could of got it here (http://www.7digital.com/artists/dizzee-rascal/tongue-n-cheek/) for £5 I probably would of.

i dunno about sell out but i could see why some think that. i have always been aware of the guy but a mate lent me three albums last week and i thought i was gonna enjoy the later stuff more but i cant get enough of boy in da corner and most of maths and english but the new one is a bit meh.

that dirty cash remake stinks, its like he's turned into a cheecky cockney parody on some tracks when he shoudl stick to being a bit grittier.

dance wiv me is tired now, holiday is shit but bonkers is still amazing and the rest of the album never recovers.

Of course, I'll give this a spin at some point but I'm not holding my breath. I predict it will be poor. Boy in da Corner is his pinnacle, and it's a shame because it's his first effort. I Luv U is outstanding.

He just seems hellbent on celebrity now.

agreed and when you listen to fix up look sharp it makes it all look a bit sad.
but he's a funny lad on some rhymes i just think he has made some allowances in his style to sell records which i'm not comfortable with

I'm just not feeling all of these 'rappers' working with dance producers to ensure they get a 'smash hit'...I know it's all money making and such but the songs stink. Bonkers included. I can't stand any of it.

Dizzee, Wiley, Tinchy etc etc (n)

He can fuck off for all I care, I hate his accent and what he raps about. It's annoying because I like the electro type music it goes with, but it's all a cheap trick.

I personally sometimes kinda sorta love cheesy catchy dance tracks :o

That said, I do find some of it falling under that category so I'll work out to it. But it surprises me that he chose to go this route.
