in new Mexico you only have a license plat for the back of the car. I was going to order a state replica for the front of my car 3M TA3. Since the 7th grade I always wanted to do this, from the days of LTI, and recently thought I should on my new car??? I think it is probably a bad idea but I am also saying fuck it just do it????

You'd be arrested and have your car taken off you in the uk if you had false license plates - not the same? But then across the pond you guys don't have front ones do you? So does it mean you're allowed to do that on the front - just not the back?

Some states have plates in front and back and you can’t have anything other than the legit plate, a few states have only back plates... Like New Mexico
So, in New Mexico a front plate is ornamental only...
People who pick up their BMW in Germany keep the original German plate on front..
Many Realtors have their company logo on a plate...
Some have a plate with their sports team..
Most have nothing.

most states allow you to custom order license plates so I don't see the problem. there's no one at the DMV who is going to put two and two together and realize what's what as far as 3M TA3 is concerned.
