Saw this posted on another music forum:

"Carl Sagan - 'A Glorious Dawn' ft Stephen Hawking (Cosmos Remixed)" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSgiXGELjbc)

Downtempo-ish music + samples from "Cosmos" + studio audio manipulation = a cool spoken word tune! I really like it.

Btw if you're even just vaguely into science and The Big Questions, I believe you owe it to yourself to watch Sagan's "Cosmos" series, all 13 episodes. And don't let its age deter you, since the subject matter is basically timeless, though it helps this series' production values are very high - up to that time Cosmos was the most expensive series PBS ever put together.

If you want a sample of what the series is like, watch this 5 minute excerpt from the beginning of the first episode:

"On The Shores Of The Cosmic Ocean" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7n71pm0K04)

FYI: the delicately haunting music is by Vangelis, of "Chariots Of Fire" fame.
