Really on paper the story seems pretty basic: a girl with a mom that would rather see her in dresses with debutantes then combat boots finds women empowerment through a real tough "women's club" and gets a boy and learns some lessons on the way. But what all other professional reviewers are saying is true; any cliche that springs up is handled with charm, wit, and finesse that saves a would be a "i've seen this" snoozefest.
Not enough can be said for the amazing cast, production design and directing that would make you want to see it anymore then you should. You just need to see it and take in all the subtle nuances and substance beneath. Its quite the charmer, this movie, and I was thoroughly entranced all the way through.
