it's a cut up version of Here's a Little Something For Ya spliced with DJ Shadow, but as BMcD said, it has much potential for greatness (y)

I'm a little disappointed that this album is being leaked a song at a time. I was looking forward to sitting down and listening to a new album from start to end. Oh well...there are worse things than getting new bboys songs every few days.

I hear you, JP, but I think we are going to be in for a sonic surprise when we hear the versions as meant to be heard: not in the form of a rough cut or ripped from a video game, spliced one track at a time or by radio release...

When the games out will the song be able to be ripped without all the scratching sounds an shit ?

It's funny because isn't this somthing like the way part 2 was intended to be released. Even though unintentional, I think it would be a interesting way to put a album out.

Wow!!! I'm super psyched. Sounding good. I like hearing snippets and tracks...but I'm really looking forward to the listening to the album start to finish.

I'm surprised the whole thing hasn't leaked yet...

This sounds like it could the 'fart spray cologne' song. Hard to make a judgement with all the video game/Number song shit all over it. It sounds like it could be a fair to middling track, really. You have to account for the fact that you can't be certain about anything but the vocal actually being the track.

Once again, shows how much marketing support this album was going to get. Now more than ever I hope they add 2 songs to part 1, or just release part 2 as a complete album. This drip feed shit sort of kills the experience, even though it was completely unintentional.

Although, Cuban Linx 2 was drip feeding for a while. At least then we got non-album songs as well, though.

Billy Corgan plans on releasing the next Smashing Pumpkins album one song at a time.

Yeah true but seeings its been pushed back I think its a good thing for the fans. Too Many Rappers is the only one so far that can be listened to in its finished sound quality too. Plus its only 5 songs so there will still be 12 songs to sit back an listen to. I think its worked out fair perfect.

this essentially makes me think, again, that an album produced by a bunch of different producers or even just a remix album would be hot as fuck

it still surprises me that they haven't done anything like that. they're obviously capable of doing it themselves, but it could be so glorious. shit, it's like the only thing they haven't tried.

there's simple reason for this. when they make the beats themselves they don't have to split the money --> more profit

in addition to what they do creatively, beasties are very smart musicians financially

where they really make a ton of dough though is touring. i mean mike d lives on point dume. over by bob dylan. that is serious money.

whatever man. they've been rich since their first album.. who cares.?. they make the best music, rich or poor. so they are rich:eek: they can hire the best producers in the world.. why don't they? because they don't have to, that's why.. and they make money touring because they are a good enough band to sell out shows. cased closed

Rodie

It's true, they only got like $100,000 grand each off LTI. Which is why they each got $1,000,000 up front just for signing on to do Paul's Boutique.
