i recently watched those classic "M-TV unplugged" sessions again, my favourite were: Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots .... really great stuff if you like their music and very well produced by M-TV. Well, inspired by 2 Beastie Boys Exclusive Instrumental Gala Events (NYC & Cologne) which i attended 2 years ago, i really think the B-Boys should also think about a real unplugged session. They don´t necessarily need to do a special tour again, but a high-quality video live-stream from their studio would be cool enough.

What do you think and what would be a perfect setlist for unplugged?

I was always a big fan of that series too. The hip hop show they did was amazing. LL Cool J "Mama said knock you out" is one of my favorite performances of all time. Who else was on that? Tribe and MC Lyte?

Leave that crack alone!

I remember watching that Hip-Hop Unplugged on TV when it first premiered and being blown away by LL. Why they never put that show out on DVD, I'll never know. They should be able to digitally remove clumps of Right Guard nowadays, shouldn't they?
