my favorite years were between 0-14.
1997 was my favorite year after that aged 26, nothing has beaten that yet.
nowadays I'm lucky to have 10 good days a year what with work getting in the way and society being too politically correct.

i have classes mon, wed, thurs
i usually spend tuesdays working on a research internship and tuesdays i have riding lessons which i enjoy but with the commute eats up 3 hours in the middle of the day (its about 40 min drive both ways). i may work on the research internship other days too
fridays i teach labs
saturday and sunday i work at a sandwich shop
i have no good friends... some acquaintances. i usually have to invite myself to stuff.
most of my classes seem like useless wastes of time
i absolutely hate where i live, my roommates make me very uncomfortable
that guy i like i think someone told that i like him, as hes gotten weird and distant which is a real bummer because doing stuff with him was pretty much the most fun part of my life. doing stuff with him primarily consisted of getting really high and playing video games.
my life just isnt very happy or enjoyable and when people tell me that this is the best it will ever be its really a drag.

My 20's were OK but my 30's were great. I'll let you know how the 40's went in about 10 years.
my plan is to be a jack donaghy-esque successful 40-something and sleep with younger women who are attracted to my money because as i understand it men become more attractive and richer than women as they get older

this is going to make me sound like a dick, but im not really intending it to be.
start hitting the gym. guaranteed you start running a couple miles daily, watching what you eat, that dude will start to pay attention to you.
plus youll just start feeling better about yourself.
more confident to go out and met people, and theyll start inviting you places.
youre only young once you might as well get the best out of it.

sadly im pretty sure you are right, but there isnt much time left! im graduating in may.
i had one week near the end of summer that was super fun and awesome. its a lot of explanation as to my living situation, but i was staying in a place that i really liked, living with two guys that were a lot of fun, and basically just having fun on a regular basis and being included in stuff, and i was like wooo life rocks! once i had to move out of the house they kinda flaked out on me though.
dude i like is one of the dudes. i think the reason i like him is pretty much because i want back in on his fun activities and his friends.
i'm loving my 20's especially on bowling nights like tonight sam pornez is lights out

ha, well before you get a husband and a child to take up all your spare time, it will be the only thing to keep you sane with whatever job that will over work you when your out of school

i'd say there's just been good and bad all the way through so far. i mean i look back at when i was, say, 15-23, life was good, total freedom-i lived with tonnes of friends, had no responsibilities and was pretty much constantly happy. BUT, if you'd have asked me then, i'm sure i'd have had something to moan about.
i still have loads of amazing friends surrounding me, got two bloody gorgeous kids, am a lucky westener and all that shit but there's still part of my life that's a big fat FAIL!!
never happy....it's a human condition, but keep your chin up-life's an adventure and you've got a hell of a way to go

I'm 25 now. I can say that although from age 18-23ish had it's moments, they were NOT the best years of my life. At all.
It's different for everyone. Maybe for you it will be after college or maybe even your 30's.
HOWEVER, you can't just rest on your laurels and expect things to happen either. Don't wallow in self pity or else you'll drown yourself in it and you will have no one to blame but yourself. Make choices. Take action.

I had fun in college, but I'm having even more fun now at 30.
people who say anything about "the best years of your life" are just losers.
your life is what you make it. as much as I don't want to agree with cyp, exercise will help you feel better about yourself and basically just feel better in general. not that you need to suddenly try to get all fit and go tanning like the chickys he's after, just get healthier.
When I was a little boy, my mother used to sing me a song. It went like this... "Life is short, life is shit, and soon it will be over."

my ma sang me a song as well but it went like this:
The men in the factory are old and cunning,
You don't owe nothing,so boy get running!
It's the best years of your life they want to steal!

I wonder how many people who give you the "best years" speech are in unsatisfying marriages and thus they're looking back on their pre-marriage fun years.
I wasn't at my happiest during college because I was so broke all the time and worried about family issues. Things got dramatically better for me shortly after I turned 25. But don't let your life pass you by. Get out and do things you enjoy. Time really does fly by. There are some things you can't do when you're 40.

as long as I can walk and don't have any chronic pain, can speak, and experience eating, love, smiling and things like that - I consider these to be the best days of my life.
Even so, life is a gift and I live every day of my life as if it was my last. I never get hung up on anything, there is nothing in this world that will keep me from being a happy, satisfied person.
