The networks are hating that the west coast teams are choking.

I could see conference rooms last week with execs. all excited about the ratings and cash that was going to come in if the Dodgers and Yankees went to the World Series.

Now they are going ahead and making vacation plans during the W.S. because its going to blow ratings wise.

Comparable cost as far as face value between Phils and Yanks?

Phils tics are pretty cheap in comparison.
Phils face value tics are anywhere from $20 to $60.
I think Standing Room Only tics are $5 and are only sold at 4pm on gameday at the box office.

I was just searching the online brokers, and tics in Philly for Game 3,4,& 5 of the WS are going for $500 and up.
Yankees Stadium WS tics are starting at $400.

I have a friend whose family has season tics tho.
I was at game 1 of the Rockies series this year.
They sold me 2 seats for $100 a piece.

We talked today about possibly going up to Yankee Stadium for Game 6 or 7 if it goes that long, which it won't.

Game 3, the first home game here, is going to be on Halloween night, which falls on a Sat. this year.
I'm pretty excited at the prospect of having kids (and Moms & Dads) coming in and out of the house trick or treating and everyone stopping in and watching the game.
Should be a lot of fun.


BTW.
Phils in 5, and that's a guarantee :cool:

Definitely was a fun night (y) Impressive hitting from both sides, but this time the Yanks out-hit the Phillies. I doubt that camera will be hanging over the edge this time ;)

Nice to see a good series, both teams have their work cut out for them
