how bout you dont blow your wad and watch until the appropriate time of year.
What is egg nog? Do we call it something different?
edit: I just got indigestion reading the wiki article on it - is it actually nice to drink?
it tastes like...i don't even know how to describe it...i guess i'd describe it as a sort of light milkshake? but with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. it really is a delightful winter drink, the kind of thing that tops off a nice snowy evening indoors with the heat on while wearing an ugly sweater. i guess it's mostly mixed with alcohol but i drank it without booze growing up as a kid and even now that i'm more or less a grown up (and more or less an alcoholic) i quite prefer it boozeless, i just enjoy the taste of it.
now that i'm living on my own though, i don't think i'd ever buy it. i mean i do legitimately like the taste, but for me, it's more about the memories. the memories of my parents bringing it home around christmastime, and drinking it alone, well...no, that just doesn't feel quite right

one of my aunts makes homemade nog for christmas and puts just the right amount of rum in it to give it a kick, but not make your taste buds scream at you.
delectable. (y)
