u2 came to my neighborhood once for a surprise concert. they came to a local theater to put on a show that was only announced like a week in advance and they literally clogged up traffic for 2 or 3 days, only to put on a concert that was invite-only, play 4 songs and then cocktease the audience for an encore that never came

anyways, I'm not as big a fan as I was around Joshua Tree

they have become quite the attention whores as the stream is proving, I wonder if a spotlight shines down on them when they're just walking through town, twittering, or taking a shit

like i said, they clogged traffic for about 2-3 days before the show even took place. some of it was equipment being brought in but some even more of it was fans crowding around hoping to spot the band so yeah, they probably have a spotlight
