i had to fill in a survey for work today to see how good they are to work for and one of the questions was the above thread title.

so i put that question to you lot?

i mean, it doesnt have to be the job you wanted to do as a kid, you could just be really happy doing what you do i suppose.

i dont hate my job and i like the people but i would walk tomorrow if i got a better offer. I just enjoy being able to provide for the kids now.

EDIT : Apologies for those out of work, but i will ask you guys if you are looking for work that you want to do over just getting a job, if that makes sense.

no, but I like my coworkers and I get to do whatever I want most times. I spend 6 hours a week working another job that is pretty much a dream job, but impossible to do full time. so, bleh.

what you spent all that time and passed and now you dont like it. are you sure thats not because you havent got a law job you want yet. i dont think you should panic just yet r kid.
i suppose the achievment of passing the bar would look good to any employer but i am sure sacking it off before your law career started wouldnt, just keep plugging away dude

I really like my job as a nurse. I work mostly with leukemia and lymphoma patients undergoing stem cell transplants. The patients are amazing...courageous...they make me value life.

There are a few coworkers I could do without...but I've known since I was 15 I wanted to be a nurse. A very rewarding field.

I'd rather not get into details, but it has to do with teaching art.

It is rather tough sometimes...and you do sometimes get attached to people. You kinda have to separate yourself from the situation....but that's easier said than done.
