Do you think this is a warning, or what?

it only says its reminding you about the policy - i would just lay off the DL's for a while if i were you. you have been caught with your fingers in the till and got a slap on the wrist. i wouldnt be too worried.

assuming you actually are doing the downloading, make sure you have this (http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/) running before you have any torrents running. i don't know how or why it works but it does, it stops the man from knowing you're downloading things

Yeah, I was hoping it was just a warning.
But I wasn't 100%.

I'm hoping I don't get something in the mail from the owners of the copyright in the next few days.

If they do come after you, don't forget to tell them you keep your wireless signal unprotected and by golly, someone else must have been using your signal for these evil and illegal deeds. For goodness sakes, what is a zombieland anyways your honor?

it sounds like it yeah. i mean i don't have any unique legal perspective to offer, but just from reading the letter it doesn't sound like they're planning to do anything to you, they're just reminding you that they can do something.

I'm innocent, and with Bob as my internet legal council I will be vindicated.

I received almost the exact same letter a few years ago except it mentioned something about a certain episode or two of 'The Sopranos' instead of Zombieland.

Nothing ever came of it. The actual copyright holders never contacted me and Comcast never did after that either. I think this is primarily linked to sharing the files, not actually downloading them. My advice is, if possible, to turn off the sharing of the file and you'll probably be okay.

That thing Bob links is probably not a bad idea either. But what do I know? Not a whole lot, I can tell you that.
