lets say you have win x64 and that you downloaded a .cue of quake II and were running it from a virtual drive. you go to install the game and you get an error message that says that it's not compatible with your version of windows 95/NT
is there a way to fix this?

4 things I can think of
1) You don't have a program to run/extract/convert the cue file
2) cue file is corrupted
3) registry file corrupted
4) It's not compatible

I've found real old games rarely work on newer versions of windows. Quake II being really old in this case. No dice.

I DID A MANUAL INSTALL IN DOS AND GOT IT TO RUN BIZZNITCHESSSS
after fiddling with the video options to actually be able to see anything though, ive kind of lost my drive to play
i cant decide if im proud of my 1337n355 or embarrassed by the fact that i spent a significant amount of my saturday night trying to install quake 2.
your computer was trying to tell you that quake 2 sucks
it was right
