I'd like some pointers as to where to start with KRS. I put my hand up, I know very little and have only heard the odd bit. Okay, so the odd bit is really 'Sound Of Da Police' on a few compilations, and bits and pieces from various mixes (The Rub anyone?). And I like the Sublime tune, not that that's all that important.

Anyway, I'm hooked to his delivery from what I've heard. Where should I invest my hard earned cash? I'm into albums as opposed to the odd tune. Any credibility is gone on my part by the way, I realize.

Cheers!

dave.

His best work was with Boogie Down Prod.

Criminal Minded & By All Means Necessary are two of the best hip-hop albums ever made.

Start with the BDP catalog (namely Criminal Minded and By All Means Necessary, Ghetto Music and Edutainment).

If you're just talking about the solo stuff, I'd say Return of the Boom Bap, the s/t album, and most of I Got Next. I'd forget about anything that came after unless you're really craving more (it's pretty uneven).

I love how Mickill reposts almost my exact comment as if my post were invisible or something?

You can add users to an "ignore list" so you see that they've posted but can't read what they've written. Anything's possible.

I never saw either of your posts until just now. I got sidetracked mid-reply and left it for awhile. Then I went and did other stuff for the rest of the day.

Don't worry Rob, you're not invisible to me. I have no idea what Pshabi's posted though. ;)

I was listening to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekp72p2NCOk) earlier. Pretty nice for a b-side.
