Greetings all. I’ve been a Beastie Boy fan ever since stealing my sisters cassette tape of Licence to ill. That’s right I said cassette tape, for all of you that don’t know, there was music before CD’s. As many of you do I own every studio album the Bboys have released. I also pride myself in hunting for all bboy remixes (Get it together - Buck wild remix, so whatcha want - soul assassins mix, intergalactic - Fuzzy logic and prisoner of technology remixes, Sure shot - Nardone, Large professor, and European b-boys remixes and remixed albums (New York State of Mind - Dj Green Lantern . Double Check your Head - Max Tannone, Still Ill - Dr. Numbers, even the hip hop sampler promotional disk. The list goes on and on. I have more remixed Beastie boy songs that album versions I’ll put it like that. I have found 41 remixed Beastie Boy songs on three full albums. Dj Cassidy has put out a series of albums titled The Beastie Projects. The Beastie Projects have quickly moved there way to the top of my Beastie playlist, and far surpassed even the remixes released by the Beastie Boys themselves. In a time when I should have a new Beastie Boy album in my hands, these tracks have quenched my Beastie thirst. Here are links to some simple videos on youtube if you don’t believe me. Just remember it’s not the video that matters it’s the bangers underneath. So here are 5 of the 41 Beastie Project tracks and 1 unreleased Dj Cassidy remix. and stay tuned there will be more uploaded.

I've been to those sites. most of it is garbage!! After the Beastie released the raw stems from their albums everyone with music editing software thought they could put out a remix. I search for the true remixes, Sure Shot imports from japan on grand royal not released in usa for exapmle. i agree there are alot of remix SINGLES out there but noone has put out three full beastie boy remix albums (not even the beastie boys) and the Beastie Projects are great albums, if you want quality you have to dig, where the dust lurks that's where the beats are.

I'm looking forward to the DJ Cassidy remix albums. There is a lot of good stuff on beastiemixes.com
Here are 19 beastie boys remix albums from the aforementioned site, and I wouldn't classify any of them as garbage. (Ok so maybe some of them are EP's, but you get my meaning). These are just two of 115 DJ's on the site.

In an hour or so I'll upload another one I found on the net which you'll probably like too.
Here is a complete album remix. It is recorded as one track 1:51:45 so it is a big download, but worth it IMO. Tracks are left alone for the most part, but segues are blended with original source material. I would give credit to the original mixer, but I can't remember where I got it.

i don't want to sound like i'm a dick. I'm not. there are some gems on the site, real bangers.(thank you for the links to some of the good ones) as i sit and sift through them, spending hours hitting the random artist and finding one or two singles. there are a lot of great beats, but most cant get the lyrics on time or they're running two different BPMs. their profile says "been making beats since 92'" with train wrecks in the middle of the song, no bridges and breakdowns. (lb) making remixes is more then just slapping an acapella over a sick beat and calling it a day. i just wanted all the true fans to hear quality beastie remix albums. and that's why i'm doing this. and why I came here to do it. so all of you don't have to go listen to 3300 remixes to find 20-80 remixes that make it to the ipod. the singles I have put up show his talent and love for the Beasties but still don't show how well the three albums have been constructed. the digging cassidy did. he's a huge bboy fan and put in over a year on the three beastie projects. i say there is 41 remixes, that's not including sick as intros, outros, interludes and skits on all three.
(!)Adam, Adam, Mike i hope you read through these. two of the beastie projects were handed to a co-owner of capital when he was in town for the Denver Gala Event.(!)

steady on! Yeah, not everything is great on beastiemixes and i'm to blame for some of them! But without help, advice and encouragement i would still be making shite but i have got a lot better due to advice on software, structure and little tips so dont just knock it as a collection of mixes that are mostly sub - par. Its a community. Besides which, listening to music in general, you have to listen to a lot of stuff you dont like to find the gems. stop with the snobbery.

you're absolutely right, my word choice could have been better. the beastiemixes site is invaluable to the beastie community. It's one of the if not the only website devoted purely to beastie boy remixes. like I said there are a lot of great artist highlighted there with amazing mixes. and I don't want to take away from all the hard work put in by producers of beastiemixes or the artists showcased. there are something like 3300 remixes on their site, and I have only listen to a small percentage. I had no grounds to judge the masses of mixes on the 1 to 2 hundred or so that I have listen to. I could have been more specific and said that a lot of the remixes I heard weren't for me. electronic beats and club beats are just not what I am in to. I apologize if I offended anyone, and should have had a lot more consideration for my fellow fans here and those involved with beastiemixes.com

Are the DJ Cassidy albums available for download yet? I refuse to believe that such a well thought out promotional campaign to move the masses of Beastie Boys fans to DEMAND that these remixes be released to the general public has not yet resulted in these tracks being released.
Well, then... screw all of you! You wouldn't know a good Beastie Boys remix if it showed up on your doorstep naked with a six pack of beer. Look in the dusty corners (where the cockroaches and sordid undesirables lie for that is where the TRUE remixes lie).
The streets shall flow with the blood of the non-believers.

I take that back... You do sound like a dick. Probably because you are a dick. Only a dick would show up on this message board claiming to have 41 beastie mixes, then provide some links to poor sound quality youtube uploads, then attempt to convince everyone on the board that you were in negotiations with DJ Cassidy (not the famous one) to have the remixes released, then solicit help from other beastie friendly websites acting as if you were in the know, then DIS-A-FUCKING-PEAR because it didn't work out like you wanted. You, sir, are a dick. Add an "ea" to no id, because that is what you have.
Sorry for any board members looking for substance, this is just a rant.
