Greetings all. I’ve been a Beastie Boy fan ever since stealing my sisters cassette tape of Licence to ill. That’s right I said cassette tape, for all of you that don’t know, there was music before CD’s. As many of you do I own every studio album the Bboys have released. I also pride myself in hunting for all bboy remixes (Get it together - Buck wild remix, so whatcha want - soul assassins mix, intergalactic - Fuzzy logic and prisoner of technology remixes, Sure shot - Nardone, Large professor, and European b-boys remixes and remixed albums (New York State of Mind - Dj Green Lantern . Double Check your Head - Max Tannone, Still Ill - Dr. Numbers, even the hip hop sampler promotional disk. The list goes on and on. I have more remixed Beastie boy songs that album versions I’ll put it like that. I have found 41 remixed Beastie Boy songs on three full albums. Dj Cassidy has put out a series of albums titled The Beastie Projects. The Beastie Projects have quickly moved there way to the top of my Beastie playlist, and far surpassed even the remixes released by the Beastie Boys themselves. In a time when I should have a new Beastie Boy album in my hands, these tracks have quenched my Beastie thirst. Here are links to some simple videos on youtube if you don’t believe me. Just remember it’s not the video that matters it’s the bangers underneath. So here are 5 of the 41 Beastie Project tracks and 1 unreleased Dj Cassidy remix.

i feel like the majority of remixes are electo (i.e. house or trance) just not my style. they're just not the Beastie. and that's what I love about the trilogy of the Beastie Projects, all three albums have beastie feels to them. he may go by Dj Cassidy, but he's a producer through and through. take the time to listen to these, i feel like there is a little for everyone. there are now 15 new tracks up for your listening pleasure. please rate and comment on remixes. videos are just so you have something to watch. Cassidy has been working on and just about to release a collaboration snowboard mix tape called Summit Sessions. the interest that is being generated is a motivator to get a website built and these uploaded. The Beastie Projects were originally produced to give cassidy's friends (big beastie fans) something new to listen to. He never intended them to be mass produced. I think the original run was something like 300 copies of each. All three of them should be picked up by a label and put out to the masses of Beastie fans crying for something new. Hint Hint Adam, Adam, Mike. lol.

If all of the fans that want these can do me a favor, go to cassidy's myspace page www.myspace.com/eyeshalflow or his facebook page and send him a message suggesting he release the beastie projects it may light a fire under his ass to upload them and possibly produce another. In the mean time please continue to listen to the tracks uploaded on to youtube, that way I can go to cassidy and show him the fans want the Beastie Projects. Between that and the myspace and facebook messages all of us will have copies in the near future. Trust me they are worth the effort.

I think that you and Cassidy are romantically involved.

Seriously though thanks but no thanks, I don't have the time to track this dude down in all his social hang holes just to leave him a message in the hopes that he posts these little ditties for me to DL and listen too. There are plenty of people on here just pimping their shit like crazy and making my life easy by posting very convienient links that I can directly download from. And many of them sound nicerrrr (Minty Fresh) .....or just as nice.

So I appreciate your efforts and all the help you are trying to be on behalf of your boyfriend, but honestly this just sounds like a lot of work leaving messages, racking up plays on you tube, etc.

You can tell him that I think most of them are pretty cool though if you would like.

In the end, they're just remixes.

remixes keep things fresh and up to date. taking tracks made in the 90s and giving them face lifts. albums and tracks can become stale and years overplayed sometimes. alot of us dig for remixes.

Dust monkey just becuase your angry bitter dick doesn't mean the the remixes aren't quality. you obviously have nothing betther to do than cruise your "social hang hole" of the beastie web site and tear down beastie boy fans who enjoy new well produced music. I agree the majority of remixes can be garbage or under produced, when one comes along we get it. when 41 come along it's worth mentioning to the fans. if you like them that's fine if you don't that's fine to, but no need to be hateful. He's not my "boyfriend", but if he was who cares? are you that homophobic that any time someone does something as far as promotion they're gay? grow up. it's called a job.

Hahaha Nice job.

Seriously dude relax because your running on and my little comment has turned you into a mashup of yourself. Nice Little Guy Helping His Man vs. Angry Lover on the Verge of Boiling a Rabbit

1. I promise you that I am not an angry bitter dick, and I never said anything negative about the quality except that other remixes on the board sound "nicerrrr"
2. Interesting choice of word in "cruise-ing" but I assure you that I do have better things to do hence my original statement of your request just sounding like a lot of work. I guess this is my only "hole" so you got me there but I do not tear Bboy fans down; well mostly that's true I guess until an ass clown like you runs his mouth. I certainly wouldn't tear one down for appreciating well produced music....if that's what you want to call your boyfriends mixes?.?
3. "if you like fine if you don't fine...." - - - SHUT UP baby
4. If he is your boyfriend I really don't care. Honesly that was kind of a joke but you are really in this dudes corner and the way you write about him just made me think that you might just be in love. I promise you again that I am not homophobic in the least. To each their own I say because that would be the last thing on my mind in this world right now.
5. Grow up. it's called a job?? Sorry but I don't even know what that means. Do you mean growing up is a job, or did you mean to say get a job, or were you just so angry at that point that even you didn't really know what you were trying to say?

Anyway, sorry I made you so angry because that was not my intent. I'll say it again, you can tell your man that I think his mixes are cool and I would still like to download them. That's it really....

PS. Don't forget that a yellow hanky in the left rear pocket means that you like the waterworks; I myself am not a fan, maybe you are but regardless be careful.

True, but the quality is sorta poopish (96kbps).
