It occurs to me that these are the 2 types of ingredient that I have the most variety of…there was a time when hot sauces would be up there…they’ve been replaced by curry’s…I’m not sure how I got the grapeseed or if I’ve ever used it…it must be hers…what do you have the most of?

Red wine
Malt
White
Japanese Rice
Balsamic
Apple Cider

Olive (3 types)
Sesame
Canola
Soybean
Peanut
Grapeseed

hot sauce, for sure.

in the fridge now:

tabasco
sriracha chili
habanero hot
hot pepper chili sauce

plus about 5 or 6 different varieties waiting to be experienced in the cupboard. pretty much always have at least 3 bottles of differing consistency in the fridge

I highly recommend champagne vinegar.
I even use it straight up as a dressing on salads.

Try the grapeseed oil in salad dressings as well Moot! I like it because it's not as heavy as extra virgin olive oil.

I’m thinking of making this for X-mas gifts... (http://chinesefood.about.com/od/sauces/r/szechuanhotoil.htm)well with her help, she’s gonna make fancy labels and wax seal them...all grown up like...I was thinking more of a oregano, rosemary and basil infused deal but I’m wary of giving people botchulism...

My refined palate has ingested enough franks to last a lifetime!

The bottle of tabasco i have is a big 22 ounce of generic type stuff that is more or less just like franks. i usually use it when i am looking to bulk up the heat on a sauce or something, and save the other stuff as an additive as needed.

i'll have to take a photo of the empty bottle collection i have. started it while in college, and its a great way for me to try different stuff all of the time. i hardly ever find something that stands out enough for me to make it a regular, so i find this way is best for me.

I think I've become somewhat immune to Frank's...it's just for pizza now...my brother and I had this poster in our college apartment… (http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?aid=1804209944&apnum=290711&LinkTypeID=1&PosterTypeID=2&DestType=7&Referrer%20=http://www.hotsauce.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=20)I think at one time we had about 20 of them...
