I got my package from the great white north today. It didn't smell like back bacon either hosers.

I'm suprised snow didn't fall out of the package with all of the chilly gifts. it was absolutely delicious. we sliced it up, toasted it a little, and had it with tea on christmas day. my family wants me to get the recipe. i told them it was impossible to get, cause i'll probably never make it as good :o

i havent been home, but i got a package from ms. peachy last week!

at first i opened it and it was in a tape dispenser box and i thought i was about to get a tape dispenser! the room started spinning and my vision started going blotchy, but then i opened it up and it was chinese awesome! blingy light rays and everything!

i got a waving mao watch (http://yfrog.com/6zss010074j), some chinese candy with weird white flakey things that fall off it. its called 'white rabbit' and the only english word closely resembing an ingredient on it is 'creamy', so what the hell. the tiny logo is of a rabbit hopping off a mushroom, 'high hopes' dashed! illest of all, peacher sent a pack of chinese cigarettes that look like benson and hedges and have this chinese character on them that you cross your eyes to decipher while taking a drag.

ive been meaning to write something for a few days. then i ate all the candy and smoked the stoges. i tried to keep the box and at least one candy nice for a photo, but everything's cashed! i kinds collect watches, thanks a jill for that! sorry it took me so long to say thank you(y)

Cool, I'm glad it arrived and that it brought such joy. I couldn't remember if you were a smoker or not but I thought, a funny foreign pack of smokes is always a conversation starter when you leave them out at any sort of social gathering. And they've got the Shanghai skyline on the pack, and you can only buy them here, so hey. The white flaky stuff on the candies is rice starch, nothing too exciting an entirely edible - those candies are another Shanghai specialty, made from condensed milk. And possibly melamine.
