umm, what?

that movie was too weird for weird's sake. I can't really understand why it got such good reviews, I thought it was pretty boring. Some parts were totally awesome, but some things were just like, "why?"

One review i saw said it stunk. Something about how cage's act of heroism doesn't come off as real or sincere and therefore stains the whole movie.

Should i see this or men who state at goats?

that sounds like a dumb review...of course his act of heroism wasn't sincere, he's the bad lieutenant! he's an asshole!

anyhow, the more I think about it, the more I like it...but also hate it.

If you like Nicolas Cage, see it. I mean, I definitely LOL'd a bunch of times. My boyfriend said, "it had its moments". But we did a lot of looking at each other during the movie like, "wtf?"

I dunno, honestly, I've seen more intense episodes of Law and Order.

Still, it is generally entertaining. I liked all the secondary characters a lot. and I actually really like Nicolas Cage...so, even though he's got crazy hair and a plastic face, I find him enjoyable to watch.
