View Full Version : What to buy bf for X-mas
He doesn't want clothes, or CDs, DVDs/the like.
I am really bad at buying gifts for other people. I'm not creative about it. I want to get him something meaningful and romantic-ish, but haven't a fucking clue. I'm getting him a watch, yeah, but he wanted this watch for a while now.
He did mention something about wanting chocolate soap. The soap farm-place I buy stuff from doesn't have any (fuck).
He likes the Yankees (I know - pukes). But he has a hat, and shirt, and blablabla...
Any ideas?
a new car?
that'd be pretty awesome.

my boyfriend is one of those crusty types who would probably be happy with a jumper made out of sawdust and a fish supper.
he's making me a big bookcase by hand so it puts a bit of pressure ms. no talent here. i seriously think i am just going to get him a fish supper.. and a massage. and some books.
don't worry toy, make him dinner and get some sexy times on the go. never fails.

you should do this, much better than anything you could buy

i'd rather have presents. unless it was some sort of present that you could only use once and it only lasted for a short amount of time, in which case i'd take the sex and dinner. as long as it was nice dinner.

guys like getting stuff they need, right? I dunno. the other day, my boyfriend was complaining about his manual can opener being hard to use and how he wished he had an electric, so I'm getting him an electric one. I'm guessing he'll be pleased. I got a huge kiss when I surprised him with an oven mitt a few weeks ago.
I bought him a salt lamp ( http://www.natural-salt-lamps.com/saltlamps.html ) for a christmas present, but I was too excited about it to wait to give it to him, so I gave it to him on thanksgiving. :p
I found some cool photos in an old Life magazine that I thought he'd like, so I'm probably going to frame those and give them to him. Might get him a Threadless t-shirt or just look for some good ones at a thrift store.
maybe you could get/make your boyfriend some cool art?

my socks are currently developing huge holes and i haven't been motivated to buy new ones so if i had a girlfriend and she bought me socks for christmas i would go down on her so hard
of course if i had a girlfriend i'd probably have already bought new socks because nobody's going to date a guy with ratty socks like mine
what was i saying? oh, right, buy him two tickets to a yankees game, make a day of it

I was going to refute this, but now that I think of it...he does need a new record player and a new t.v. He was also just talking about how they brought back the orginal one stars and how much he liked them...maybe that was a hint? he's already got good headphones and he doesn't drive.
bah, that kind of stuff is too expensive!
