View Full Version : Gimmie your flickr account names
Oh, doesn't matter anymore anyway - found some people I know.
Just wanted to test out a new app on my phone and knew no1 on flickr - or thought I didn't (y)
Not that I am not genuinely interested in peoples photos - now that I've made it easier for myself to do that.
So if you want to share, then you can still put your names here. If you have private photos public then I would suggest changing your settings as I could still find peoples out if I was that bothered.

thanks, you guys have some pretty good photos.
I haven't really used flickr and I have photos dotted all over the place, I'm trying to organise them onto one cloud while at the same time trying to organise my hard copies (albeit digital) of them. Flickr seems the way to go, even though their premium service costs, its seems worth it for what it offers although the free version suits my needs right now (y)

I've got the pro-account cause I use flickr as one of my back-ups for my photos. I've only put about 1400 of my over 55.000 photos available for all to see. I've got loads that I'm gonna watermark (mainly gig pics) and then post them out as public. I just don't know when I'll have the time to do that...
I signed up for two years straight away when yahoo photos closed down and I'm quite happy with flickr. There's some problems when trying to arrange all the albums, but I think it has more to do with my ancient computer and not-so-quick connection... I really should've added two more years when dollar was at its lowest....
I went pro yesterday. It really is the best photo storage I've come across and for $25 a year it ain't too bad.
I had one photo on there from ages ago which I forgot about (and that I had an account). I have a new android phone and I plan to take and store more photos, twitter, facebook and my ftp aren't as easy to use for photos as flickr so that wins even though they charge
flickr.com/gee80 for me btw but I haven't really sorted it out yet so its mainly a lot of noise. I did manage to get about 300 photos and videos up on the connection speed of dial up (y)

maybe it's the whole free thing, but taking a look back at my pretty much unused account, i wonder why i only have 13 photos uploaded. its a shame since i lost all of the photos not preserved elsewhere online from that time period.
maybe i will have to start putting a few more up. does anyone know if the free version has tight limits to the volume of photos? i don't think any of them are really worth me paying for a service just yet.
On the free version: flickr will let you put up to 200 photos online. Broken down as 100MB per month and two videos. On Pro it removes those barriers.

May need to do the pro thing also, went to two car shows in a month and while uploading the first show's worth of photos for friends to check out, I hit the full mark for Non-Pros. Maybe I should just clean up a bit.
