is that I hadn't owned any of their products since the IIe, and now every bastard has an iPod/iPhone. Remarkable.

Moreso, I own a pc, have always used pcs, and would have never had the inclination to buy any Apple shit had the iPod not become so ubiquitous. Remarkable.

I bought a Mac a few years ago when I needed an upgrade. I don't think I could ever go back to a PC.

i started with a mac then got a pc years later
switching to a pc was a pain in the twat, the mac was much easier to handle
i remember that people made fun of me for using a mac

i miss my old mac, wish they wouldnt be so shit expensive

I, too, went from Mac to PC. The first computer I ever used on the daily (at work) was a Mac. I remember using a PC for the first time when I got a new job and it was confusing as shit. I remember thinking why were there so many prefab folders? My documents, my pictures, my music. I'll create my own organizational system thank you very much. And right clicking. What the fuck was that? I used a streamlined mouse with no buttons for 7 years and it worked just fine.

I liked the Mac, the only problem was I wasn't an administrator on my own computer so I couldn't download any programs and almost nothing on the internet worked for me.

I'm all Apple, besides the phone, that one just costs too much. And my ipod touch got wet and stopped working, though they'll replace it for $50. Still just don't feel like dropping that right now. Though the macbook pro and imac are working to fantasticness, except vista on the imac, but thats just cuz vista is shifty. I only use it for music production. snow leopard for everything else.

i was anti-apple until 2 years ago, then got fucked off with Windows and went for it. Much, much, much prefer Macs/OS X. Usability / User Experience is in a different league.

Not saying i'd never switch back (as who knows what could be released etc. etc.) but at the moment I wouldn't change for the world.

Here's what I'll tell you about AAPL: It hit's $208 then goes down faster than a crackhead

Goes to $185ish for Strong Support then bounces off that. Rinse and Repeat

But my shit has been off as of late. Take a look yourself and draw the lines http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui

This is what I would say to any1 who is thinking of using Apple after using PCs. Try Linux first, more specifically try Ubuntu. It uses the same UNIX platform as Apple but is free and is more customisable in my opinion.

Only thing for me when I see Apple winning any PC vs MAC argument is when they are used for things like graphic design or more intricate music and film development where Winblows and Linux just cannot match it. I think for more general use, Ubuntu is a much finer OS than anything else I know of.

Also, for any1 whose moral compass is ok with warez, cracked versions etc there is a million and one sites with Hackintosh instructions (installing apple's OS on a PC).

I am still anti-Apple. But I can give it some props for its more specialised software, but all I see when some1 buys one for surfing the web, editing a few home movies and splicing a couple of tracks together is a big pile of wasted cash for a logo :o
