Just going down too easy. Robben couldn't stand up hardly. Making the most of fouls just annoys me. One of the reasons I originally went off football, but this cup has gripped me.

fraid they all do that now, its a sad fact but a lot of the time players cant afford not to cos the refs dont give it otherwise. uruguay were just as bad apart from one time when van bommel stepped on a lads leg. should have been a free kick but the lad got up got on with it. very refreshing to see. only one problem, play carried on for 10 seconds and van bronckhorst scored, check the highlights on bbc. so thats why it happens. to make sure contact is punished, or at least has a better chance of being punished. i'm not defending stuff like going down holding your face but i'm afraid the slightest contact and 99% of players go down. dont know how thats ever going to change now. platini and blatter dont like contact and that filters down to the referees.

i think spain will win 2-0 but you never know. just hope its a cracker and isnt a stalemate. I hope Howard Webb has a good game and doesnt fuck it up. I've always had me doubts about him and have always thought its worrying that he was the best ref in england, however he has proved himself in big games this season so good luck to the man. personally as well as having good performances i think fifa have had to give england the refs job so that the balance is slightly redressed on refereeing decisions. Plus if he fucks up the comments about lampards beautiful strike will subside.

Its getting out of hand with cards and howard webb couldnt not book any of them. The only mistake i think he's made is not sending de jong off but it was so early in the game that he obviosuly gave him the benefit. will be very surprised if this finishes with 11 a side.

I cant work out if iniesta's touch is too good and that the ball IS actually stuck to his foot or he's scared of shooting. Couple of chances to pull the trigger after good runs.
