Kinda scary, I did this morning and it was a decent amount. The other 2 times I have went today had some as well but in smaller amounts.

I have been researching it and found various causes, some not so frightening but of course, the big c word was one of them.

Time for a checkup like asap.

yes. A few times it's been very, very little and probably from my poo being too big for my anus hole so it made me bleed a little. I can tell when that happens. It hurts!

The other time I was just straight up shitting blood. Blood only. I had acute (one time) colitis so basically I had sores in my lower intestines that burst and bled. This happened due to being prescribed too many pills after I got my wisdom teeth pulled.

Hurt like a bitch. (y)

It's always a good idea to look in to what's going on if blood is coming out of your butt. Cause that ain't right.

I really hope drinking beers doesn't have anything to do with it.

For almost 2 weeks, I have been having this odd feeling on my left side in the gut area. From the location of where it feels odd, it could be the colon but I haven't been uncomfortable enough to get it looked at. Now with the bloody poo.. Shit.

i think alcohol can contribute to this, but i'm not sure. see a doctor, obviously, but you're already planning to so that's cool

About 2 days ago I visited the doctors for the first time in my adult life due to a similar reason to this, but not as extreme sounding. Cancer was a little bit of a worry for me for a few days just due to family history but the doctor didn't seem to think it was that.

Yes, PLEASE go to the doctor! If they want you to get a colonoscopy, don't be scared! The test is nothing...but the prep is horrible. I had one about 6 years ago. Please don't put this off...it is probably nothing...but it could be something!

Strange enough, I just read that everyone has hemorrhoids. It's just the ones that break the surface of the skin and full of blood are the abnormal ones.

I threw up blood after a rough night out on the town once. no wait, twice. and it was alot. and for quite a few hours. I think I'd rather poo blood than throw it up. yup.

well that's a relief. No blood today. Maybe I just ate something that totally didn't agree with me on Wednesday but I eat pretty good lately.

ANYWAY, it doesn't matter if it's stopped, man. You still need to get it checked. Could be a stomach ulcer. I've never had one, but know people who have and that's not something you let slide.

already been through it. Passed kidney stones before and the first time they did a prostate exam to make sure what it was.

Not a pleasant feeling at all.

my business partner/friend was shitting blood... went to the doctor and found out he was anemic, his white blood cell count was so low they could not do a scope.

After several infusions he got the scope and they found polyps growing in his intestines and they were removed during the scope. The bleeding stopped. The bleeding had been off and on for a few years before he talked to the doctor.

Also, after a life changing diet and work out program his white blood cell count is good.
