Posting up a single thread 4 years ago talking about how Bush had a 35% rating isn't "tracking" by any means. It's seeing a news item, and posting it up. Frankly, it's really creepy and weird of you to mention my name in the title. I mean, couldn't you go with the subtitle rather than bring my name into it? It just seems...I dunno, stalkerish.

Either way, 47% 10.5 months into his presidency isn't quite the predictor of how he'll do for the rest of his presidency. Case in point: BUSH! His poll numbers soared 10.5 months into his presidency (cough, cough, 9/11), and he was a total lame duck. HW Bush and Carter both had great numbers at this point and they both went downhill and lost the second election. Reagan and Clinton had lousy numbers 10.5 months into their presidency too, but they went on to win their second terms.

To label someone a "failure" by having low numbers at this point is premature, dontcha think? Unless you want to agree that Reagan was a failure, too.
