Twee diddle dee and twee diddle dat
...

Twee diddle dee and twee diddle dat
Sittin... waitin... sketchin, reckin'...

Got my pad and I got my pen...
again and again my two best friends...
they make my dreams come true...
its a lot to ask - but nothin a good friend wont do...

Im ridin the bus and im going to Tha' City....
Inspiration flows through the cornea like the hot sauce committee...

My thoughts and prayers are with you this day... I see you floating.. you're floating away...
You've made a positive impression upon this world..
and Im not talkin the recent depression that comes from all the beastie boys n the gurlzzz...

your master of the ce-remony...
your boddhisatvah knowledge hits deep inside me...
without the 3, dunno what my life would be...
cannot help to think how much we owe..
the 3 bad brothers, you oh so know..

Its times like these that we all unite..
All now together.. its gonna be all alright...
thoughts and prayers all will heal...
the fresh perspective that will come from such an ordeal...
amazing, astonishing, simply la prairie...
the pearls that are flowin to the MC...

WHat a proper time for this to be...
its such a mad time... this pain that we see..
healing and fighting like the warriors that be...
gone are the days of serenity... only to rise, above all the rest... to rest is best... full on force comes next...
formin like VOLTRON will profess...
the knowledge, the spirit, lifts up the chest...

I hope some of this makes sense to you... I wish I could do.. what you do... passed on to me and generations that be... OBAMA would not have happened.. if it were'nt for the THREE B's...

Just wanted to pass along MCA's Meditation request... lets all do this! And in thinking of smashing apart all the cancer cells out there in the world... lets spend a portion of the meditation directing our thoughts toward Adam in particular:

--
hello,

wanted to send this out to you guys in case you were into it, or wanted to give it to anyone who you think might be.

a few friends and i are meditating at the same time twice a day. 9:30am and 6:30pm eastern standard time, for about an hour and half.

we are picturing smashing apart all of the cancer cells in the world.

we are visualizing taking the energy away from the cancer, and then sending it back at the cancer as lightening bolts that will break apart the DNA and RNA of the cells. if you have the time, please join us in whipping up this lightening storm. mind over matter......

if you prefer to sit then sit, but if you are not used to meditating, or sitting quietly doesn't sound like fun, put on some music and dance while you do the visualization, and if you want to do it at some other time, or picture curing some other illness that's fine too. yoko will be joining the meditation by visualizing all of us dancing with joy to celebrate the world without cancer. all variations are welcome. this is really just being done with a wish for all beings to be cured of all illnesses and to find true lasting happiness.

i'll also be saying prayers for the earthquake victims in tibet, so join in on that if you can too.

please feel free to pass this onto anyone who you think may find it interesting.

with all my love,

adam yauch

Hi since I just joined the forum just wanted to say my thoughts on this real quick. I am very thankful that some higher power out there took care of Adam. So many people get hit with the worst kinds of cancer and many great celebrities have died in the recent years from it so again I am just very very thankful that he's been protected and is recovering.

I read about Hawaii and loved to hear him commenting that he was doing well. He told entertainment weekly he was disappointed to have to put things on hold. He's got cancer and look how selfless he is putting others before himself. I love this man. :D

I can hardly remember a time when I wasn't a beastie fan and I've always been partial to Yauch. I admire his youthfulness and silliness, but he's serious and dedicated to his passions, much like myself.

When I found out he was sick, I already had my tickets to see them at the ACL Festival and the Hollywood Bowl. I admit, my first thought was how disappointed I was that I wasn't going to see them again but I quickly realized just how selfish that was and all my thoughts and prayers should be with Yauch and his boys through this difficult time. Since then I've tried to be sure to catch any updates on the internet on his status and thankfully, his recovery. I was excited to see him out on the red carpets, but to see him still so skinny was heartbreaking when I've always looked to them as these larger then life characters, untouchable in a way. For all the positive impact they've had on people over the years, they should be.

I so hope that someday soon I am able to see them again, but more importantly I just wish health and happiness for all my beastie boys. :)

Oh yeah it is natural to be disappointed as fan but for the most part fans seem to understand how serious this is and that if we don't have a healthy Beastie Boy then we have nothing!! I'd rather him take a long time getting healthy than rush into it and be miserable. Looks like he is being smart and making sure he is fully ready!!

And yeah on the photo thread somebody mentioned he was skinny and I said well that's because he's just gone through surgery and radiation. Everybody I've seen endure that lose loads of weight. I hate to see him like that but he'll be fine. If not then I'll just have to fly to New York and take care of him.:p
