which do you prefer?

I used to be all about going out, getting boozed up and stumbling home at 6am. Drinking means I'm guarenteed to pick up, I'm lucky and don't get hangovers (I can't remember the last time I actually had one) but it also means I'm more prone to memory loss, doing and saying stupid things, and injuring myself due to stupid footwear choices.

When I'm on drugs, I don't get hassled so much, I'm more alert, I can go all day, all night, and (depending on intake) the next day too, the superficial bitch in me says "yay you haven't eaten for two days", but I also hate the sweating, the chewing and the comedowns.

If it came down to it though I'd rather get on drugs than drink these days. My friends are 50/50 on this - it made me curious about how other people feel.

Depends. Used to prefer smoking grass to drinking, but that's changed. Don't know why, I just don't enjoy smoking as much anymore and have come to prefer booze.

Quite like the booze and coke combo, but little chance of that happening in the PRC!

Not a huge fan of pills, but not opposed to them either. Rather down small quantities at intervals, rather than neck a load in one go. Gives a more consistent "Hey, I feel a bit happy" kind of thing, rather than the 'OH MY GOD I AM WONDERWOMAN' rush, which is inevitably followed by the 'OH MY GOD THIS SUCKS SO BAD' come down.

It depends on my mood. If it came down to it I would probably choose pot over any other illicit substance. But I have a tendency to start smoking before work and stuff which I wouldn't do with booze. Pot makes me lazy to, but booze is worse come down (ie the hangovers).

As for other drugs, apart from coke I tend to have a awful time the next day or so. But now I would sprinkle a little coke on top of the green to smoke that so that gives me a happy balance of energy and chilled (y) If I could have that combination easily I would give up the booze if forced to choose but luckily I can't see any1 forcing that on me :-)

I don't do drugs and absolutely cannot in my job, so drink it is. I'm good at being drunk so it's never a problem. Trouble with drink it normally just makes me want to go to sleep.

I haven't tried many drugs. The ones I have either had a come down so bad that I will never try them ever again. Others are just "eh" and I might involve myself once every 6 months if not more. And it's usually when I have to be around my immediate family. I need it to stay sane and friendly. I honestly only keep in touch with them because I have a little brother and he's not old enough to keep in touch with without having direct contact with my parents.

That said, I usually like alcohol. I used to drink a lot and have really slowed down over the past year. It was getting to the point that I was hung over almost every morning. Then I noticed my personality was changing when I was drinking and my behaivor towards people who loved me was getting out of hand (undeserved anger and such). So I cut myself off for about 6 months and then eased in and keep it to a minimum ever since.

I think I drink maybe once or twice a month. And I'll have about 2 or 3. And I prefer champagne. Cheap champagne, of course, like Asti. Shit's good.

But otherwise, eh. I'll take movies, music, and shooting zombies on L4D2 more often than not as a way of escaping.

If I had to choose one to give up and one to stick with, I'd drop booze and keep weed (which is the only "drug" I use these days). Many of my friends seem to have reached the point where they've tired of weed and aren't into it anymore. Not me. Hells naw.

I must admit I was more into weed when I was younger and right now I'd give up the alcohol for the weed, the older I get the more the balance shifts towards alcohol. Like others have said, both effect your personality it just depends which personality you're at peace with most I suppose

I'll take anything I can get my hands on, I really don't give a fuck. Coke pills green shrooms ket MDMA mephedrone, whatever's going son! I just won't touch heroin or crack. Not that I'm scared of OD'ing or some pussy shit like that, just because I have an addictive personality and I don't want to get into that shit.

You should try standing a room with that sulphuric acid I spilt earlier. It wasn't much and only for a couple of seconds but fumes have given me one enormous headache akin to taking some really bad acid.

It was my fault, I should of worn a mask, but you think you won't be careless with something so dangerous. Ahem
