So I finally joined it about a week ago. No one I know in real life uses it so I've just got celebrities/joke profiles/news on there. It can be pretty interesting sometimes seeing what famous people have got to say but even though I've only got about 60 following the shit-to-good ratio can be a bit tiresome.
Have you chumps got it yet?

I check it every now and then, that's how I found out about AdRock's blog when ? from Roots tweeted about it. And I found out Pet Sounds had Mattias Alkberg's latest on vinyl. And Ed Harcourt hates Ryanair, but loves Stockholm....
The most annoying thing is one of my friends tweets all her private text messages, which are all to her secret lover. The best is propably Division Of Laura Lee's guitarists photos.

Yeah, I don't know many people using it either...everybody talks about it...but not really taking off with the 'mainstream'...
i made a twitter account a long while back but i've never made a tweet. i mostly just use facebook and i realize that you can have your tweets go straight to facebook but i like to read the facebook page as well so either way i'm reading two sites, i just don't bother really. i'm bossshogg if anyone wants to follow me anyway (really can't remember why i picked that name). i have more followers than i do posts, i guess friends are finding me based on my e-mail address.
i don't really use it much but i'm starting to. i currently follow mike nelson (mst3k) and simon pegg (not mst3k). mike nelson's consistently pretty funny, simon pegg is more of a "this is what i'm up to right now" kind of tweeter but now and then he's funny too. i hear peter serafinowicz is funny, i'll follow him soon. lots of one liners like "animal doping jockeys should get off their high horses" or "why does shakespeare carry around a million bananas? he doesn't, you're thinking of a million monkeys"

when it starts being used for more interesting pursuits rather than just being a dumping ground for the half-witted musings of assorted mouthbreathers then I'll start paying more attention. ironic that I've been at this message board for so many years. sigh.
