Wow, this movie is excellent. So beautifully done. It definitely gives A Serious Man a run for its money in the movie of the year race.

i can't wait to get home for the holidays and see it...
Wes Anderson created each shot by acting out the roles of each character as a video storyboard, so that it felt more like a normal experience making a stop-animation vs. a live feature...

I think it could stand among his best. Better than Life Aquatic.

I saw it at the Stockholm Filmfestival and totally enjoyed it! Animation was great, characters were great, Clooney has a sexy voice and Jarvis did a surprise appearance!

Agreed. It's surpassed The Life Aquatic and Darjeeling Limited for me. I'd place it second (tied with Rushmore) only to The Royal Tenenbaums.
Yes, it's THAT good.

Yup. Interesting to see those videos, too.

got it from www.rushmoreacademy.com
there's tons of behind the scenes footage, storyboards, details on set design, etc...
I loved this one... in a week where I saw Avatar, this one and Nine, I still feel this is truly up there as best of the year...

saw it with captions for the deaf, which was admittedly weird, but it still didn't ruin it for me. amazing movie. would see again in a heartbeat.
