I can't get online at all with Firefox. It just won't even open when I click on the icon. It totally dissappeared this morning and this evening I rang my internet support and they adviced me to remove the whole thing and upload it again. So I had to start using Explorer, and I didn't even know where it was hidden...
Anywhoo, now I've removed and re-installed Firefox, I got the icon in the corner, but when I click on it nothing happens... There's only the fox, but when I hover over it it says nothing... WTF???
Hmmms, weird. What have you installed recently? Something could be conflicting with firefox although its normally pretty damn stable in my experience. IE I wouldn't recommend for long usage as its full of security holes.
Are you sure you did fully uninstall FF last time? Was there a Add-on left or something? Maybe try getting rid of anything that uses firefox as well as firefox and reinstalling that way.

Firefox updates itself automatically, and what I understood when you uninstall it it takes everything with it. I've had trouble watching videos lately as well, they keep freezing halfway through (on Yout Tube mainly, but even on Dailymotion), got a recommendation to un-install and re-install something, can't remember now what, and it just got worse. Wrore on Firefox help-forum, but now I don't have any old links or passwords anywhere (can't even log on to some of my gmail-accounts as I don't remember the passwords) can't check the answer... Bugger!

works fine for me too
Its hard to know what the problem might be without being at the computer.
But 2nd guess would be that it could be a Flash problem since you are having trouble with youtube. There is other flash plug-ins other than macromedia so maybe one of those installed and its comflicting. A lot of sites use flash (too much imo) which could some how be messing with everything.
If you can be arsed, I'd say back up your data and re-install your OS.

I've been trying to do back up all the time, but I take too much photos so can't keep up :/
I would really need to re-install the whole shit (I don't know what OS means but whatever...), even tho my comp's totally ancient, but I can't afford a new one at the mo :(
Sorry, OS mean Operating System. Like re-install the whole shit ;)
How old is your virus checker, is it still updating? If that has expired or something, your computer may of been attacked but not caught and thus all the problems.
If you have a problem you can't fix right away, its always best to back up anyway because they'll be nothing worse that all of a sudden it won't load up as the problem spreads. So do that anyway - even if you have to spend a few $ on storage, its worth it when you can't even afford it. Nothing is worse than losing data - especially photos because with music and movies you can get them back.

alt/f4 killed my 3.6 beta and still unable to reinstall - keeps popping up the crash reporter
so I'm using 3.0 or something like that....sucks but my machine is starting to show it's age and I'm in the process of doing some fixing uppin' or straight upgrading from top to bottom.
I noticed Google Chrome acting shitty too
