I've been getting into this "jerk" music a lot recently. Or whatever it's called. Jerkin' , maybe? Or is that the dance? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot out there, so i'm guessing it's not as popular as I thought.
New Boyz, Audio Push, Go Go Power Rangers, etc..
Anyway - 2 questions..
1) What do you think of this whole "movement". I like it because I think it's sort of an attempt to make hip hop fun again, something that has been sorely lacking since the 80s. Plus, it's all catchy as hell.
2) Does anyone here produce jerk-type beats? I have an idea for a video/dance project I want to do and i'm looking for a beat to use.. PM me.
