I'm gonna guess those who supported their hero's antics ousting ACORN won't speak up about this criminal (isn't this a felony at least?) act.
http://www.nola.com/politics/index.ssf/2010/01/acorn_gotcha_man_arrested_for.html
Alleging a plot to tamper with phones in Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu's office in the Hale Boggs Federal Building in downtown New Orleans, the FBI arrested four people Monday, including James O'Keefe, 25, a conservative filmmaker whose undercover videos at ACORN field offices severely damaged the advocacy group's credibility.
Also arrested were Joseph Basel, Stan Dai and Robert Flanagan, all 24. Flanagan is the son of William Flanagan, who is the acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Louisiana, the office confirmed. All four were charged with entering federal property under false pretenses with the intent of committing a felony.
Last fall, O'Keefe was hailed as a conservative hero for dressing as a pimp and taping ACORN employees offering advice on how he and a partner could get away with running an international under-age prostitution scheme.
Even if the wiretapping bit is dropped - conspiracy and criminal trespass will stick, and I'm sure the company they were falsely representing and the FCC might not be happy with these fucks.

yes it does
It makes him and his cronies criminals just like the ACORN associates in the video.
So I wonder who is behind this? FOX? Landrieu's Competitor? The US Attorney dad? Pelican Institute?
these birds will sing

Joseph Basel, 24; Robert Flanagan, 24; James O'Keefe, 25; and Stan Dai, 24, were charged with entering Landrieu's New Orleans office under "false pretenses for the purpose of committing a felony," according to a news release from the local U.S. attorney's office. The office is federal property.
Worse than Watergate? This was on Federal Property - worse than the idiots at Acorn

So Acorn is telling a criminal how to best use his hoes for tax purposes.
Don't change a thing.

what was that saying?
and has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand.
Too bad his crimes have nothing to do with the tax advice he received
and seeing how much scorn you have for ACORN, I would not be surprised that you championed his "work" and I'm sure you can give two shits that he just committed a felony on federal property
keep the faith rob, your hero is coming home to roost

Guilty until proven innocent, huh kaiser?
Just wondering, was anyone found with any wiretapping equiptment on them?
Didn't think so.

somewhere in this article it says something about a listening device

ok, off to work----can't post for a while, have fun at your purifying gas while posting on the beastie board job!

Actually, I don't purify gas. I just analyze it.
I'm a lab rat.
And I never post here or even use the internet for personal reasons on the company dime or the company computer.
I prefer to keep my hobbies a private matter.
I surf this place on my phone during lunch sometimes, but rarely post from it.
Now you know way to much about my personal life.
Anyway, I have to take issue with the article you're citing there from CNN.
They reported the following:
O'Keefe and a female associate were named in a lawsuit filed January 21 by an ACORN worker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who accused them of illegally videotaping an interview with her last July and distributing it on the Internet.
Just about everyone familiar with this story knows that incident took place in Baltimore, not Philly.
I can't stand lazy journalism.
I find one blatant error such as that, I refuse to read anymore of it and I have to disregard the entire article as garbage.

well that's mean of ya
Anyways, even conspiracy on a federal level is a no-no. This was a stupid move by these guys, they could have done something undercover away from the Senator's office and that would've been closer to kosher I'm sure.

So do you ever consider CNN having good journalism?

Pfffthahahahaaa.
"James O'Keefe sat in jail for 28 hours without access to an attorney, while the U.S. attorney leaked the information about his arrest, helping the media frame it as 'Watergate Junior,'" Breitbart said.
"The panty bomber on Christmas was given -- you know, this guy's from Al Qaeda, and he's not even an American citizen, and he's given access to an attorney right away.
Also:
There is no allegation of wiretapping mentioned in the FBI affidavit.
So as I said earlier, no listening device was found on them.

So basically it turns out O'Keefe's ACORN videos were heavily edited in the first place.
Colbert tries to get Hannity's reaction by staging his own heavily edited interview. Priceless!

Yes, he wasn't even wearing his pimp uniform of a purple hat and full-length fur coat when he went into the ACORN offices, how manipulative of him.
I can see why those workers would have given the pimping advice to a normaly dressed person.

Hey give him a break, he has no tolerance for messy journalism - remember?
In his eyes this O'keefe guy and his ACORN exploits aren't even news worthy now. So why would he bother to bring it up? You should know by now if the Conservatives mess up *poof!* it never existed.
I'm sure his FREE O'KEEFE signs have been burned to a crisp since your post.
