microsoft office product key help

i recently got a virus on my computer and took it to a place and had it cleaned out.

problem is now that i have it and go to use Microsoft office (07) its asking me to enter a product key and after 25 times it wont work anymore. i checked the box and theres nothing in there with it on there.

anyone know what to do in this situation? can i use an old one? (i know i have a product key for an 03 version around my house somewhere)

you checked the rest of the discs and such? sometimes they give you more than one code, and the one you need is always the one off some other paper and not the cd case you have....

or try your windows code from there.


if that doesn't work, just look for one online. sometimes its easier just to crack it than to figure out their retarded system to do things the "right way"

Same thing happened to me the other day, searched for a key online and put that in. Now works fine.

Yeah, they'll be lots of forums with keys on, just search google and by the 3rd one I bet you have one that works,

and adam idk if you were being secretly helpful or just oddly lucky but the third one had the code right on the google page, had to search no farther.

just a guess, but I have to fix friends and family computers so I know how helpful google can be ;)
