I found myself trying to peak around him while watching it, so he kind of ruined the experience for me. Which is why I called him stupid. I'm sure he's nice though.

I've been using that old lady name joke since I started, pretty much, but the Werther's thing I had just come up with that day and that's probably my most failproof laugh now. Crazy.

I am getting booked more and more, slowly but surely. Really I am trying to just get my material and writing in tip top shape but I'm doing a few booked shows a month which is a good pace, then open mics to work it all out.

Actually one of the best alt. comedy shows in town, the lady who books it was at that show and asked me to do her show!! Patton Oswalt does that show sometimes! Fucking omgz.

I love standup. It'd be cool to be funny and/or have the balls to try and entertain, but I know I never would.

Some of my favourite entertainment and there is supposed to be a good comedy club near me but its hard to get people to go unless they are a tv comic. I've seen many new comics (well at least to me) at music festivals, they do about 15 minutes and its always a cool place to hang out. I'd imagine getting on those type of bills would be cool - get to see some bands to (y)

So here's probably the worst show I've done yet. Cosmo's friend hooked me up with it at a bar in Chino, nestle between a 99 c store and a Big Lots (and not far from Lario's Meat Market).

Video is less than a minute, but gives you a good idea of what I was dealing with. I followed a hip hop act, and at first the guy who booked me said "okay, after they're done, you go up". No intro. Cos asked them to give me one, and I proceeded to stand eye-level with the crowd and attempt to talk over all the people moving equipment on and off stage.

At one point I saw the guy in the crowd and asked if he was going to light me, and he just shook his head. So I kept going until I heard a guitar tuning up and I got the hell out. I think I was up there for 10 - 12 minutes?

I just laughed off the whole thing, but I'm glad I have some video to commemorate it.
