Here is less evaluations of Barack Obama from the Nytimes, The State of the Union Is Comatose (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/31/opinion/31rich.html?em),

HANDS down, the State of the Union’s big moment was Barack Obama’s direct hit on the delicate sensibilities of the Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. The president was right to blast the 5-to-4 decision giving corporate interests an even greater stranglehold over a government they already regard as a partially owned onshore subsidiary. How satisfying it was to watch him provoke Alito into a “You lie!” snit. Here was a fight we could believe in.

I'm still happy with my vote for Barack Obama and even though i am not getting anything near what I thought I was voting for... I realize that Obama is not getting anything near what should be a fair shake.

OK. let the shit fly.

I never said that but you refer to all democrats as liberal.

If thats the case, then the health care bill would have been passed along with many other Obama items.

Do you actually read things or do you just glance at headlines? If one follows the links and views the complete guest list it's a complete cross section of corporate interests that spans over a hundred different types of manufacturers and services. All of them serious major players in the US economy. Bank, energy, and tobacco lobbyists may be there but when I read the article and followed the link (http://www.politico.com/static/PPM143_100201_dscc_miami.html)to the guests it became apparent immediately that the article was full of shit. That guy is a hack (http://www.politico.com/reporters/BenSmith.html) who wrote that article. At one time he wrote for some pretty prestigious papers... looks like he's gone down a few rungs on the ladder. I can see why.

I guess what I really want to tell you is this valvano, when the republicans do their campaigning with National (and now I guess foreign) interests of businesses and corporations it isn't news.
