It's potent as shit, but it's an amazing immune system booster because it has crazy anti-viral properties.

I've heard that getting shingles sucks. Like to where you shouldn't even make jokes about it.

Nerves.

^yeah...my patch is about the size of five silver dollars...but researching it and looking at images on the net of people with their entire backs, chest and even face covered...I can't imagine...tylenol 3 can't even touch the nerve pain...and when you think about it,it reacts...like getting goose bumps it just lights up...there is no fabric or material that you can put up against it...everything's sandpaper…I wish I owned some silk p.j's...sleeping on one side is getting old quickly...

Yikes, how did you get shingles? Sounds awful. I'd try the oil of oregano thing, how bad can it be? At the very least you'll smell like a delicious italian meal.

^anyone who has had chickenpox is subject to shingles...usually it occurs in people +60 or those with compromised immune systems...doc say's it's likely a combination of stress factors, both profesional and physical that's woken the virus, most of us carry dormant,to life...

I had shingles a few years back and it killed. They wouldn't give me Acyclovir or anything as it was too late. I used cold and warm compresses to help with the pain. Mine started out with an intense itching and then a rash..eventually turning into the vesicles. My doctor told me it wasn't shingles since it happened on my shoulder and not the typical areas like back, face, neck...but it SO was. I'm a nurse and have seen shingles in my cancer patients so I know what it looks like. Every now and then I get a twinge in the area where the shingles were.

Feel better!

I can't say what it is. It could be something. It could be nothing. If I were you, I would go to your primary and demand to see a specialist. I had wrist pain years ago and the doc kept telling me it was carpal tunnel. I knew it wasn't. Turned out it was a ganglion cyst. You just have to go in there and demand to see a specialist as your primary will be clueless. They are only good for common aches and ailments.
