Doing laundry, dusting and vacuuming. Then I'm walking my dog for a few miles up the street where all the people are out having fun in restaurants and bars. I'd really rather be sober with my dog anyway. I planned it this way.

I have ice cream and 3 DVD's Hurt locker, Anvil & Religulous.

I'm locked into night shift hours....

wassup with everyone being here on a Friday night?

Anvil and Religulous are great documentaries!!

I spent my Friday night watching the Celtics almost get their asses handed to them by the Nets. Luckily they got back in the game in the 4th quarter. I'm all for hanging solo...but these days I'm getting really tired of it. :(

I sat in front of my computer and also in front of my tv.

Exciting life (y)

It looks like I'm spending my Saturday night alone yet again! Fun! :(

I did just watch Zombieland though. Entertaining. Now what to do...as it is only 8pm.

Same here.

Although it's already 3am for me.

And when I wrote "same here", I actually meant that I watched Zombieland by myself.

for a second I thought today was friday. might as well be I guess.

I'm sick as a dog. Just cut my dude's hair and sent him off to a party down the street. I was going to go (they're gonna be playing board games!), but I feel like poop. Sucks, because I never get invited anywhere on saturday nights and the one time I do, I'm all full of snot.

:(

don't feel sad in your snottiness - my girl, son, and I have been slime machines for the past few days

it's fun!

well, I've cheered up a bit, drinking some apple cinnamon theraflu. I thought it was going to be disgusting, but it's rather pleasant.

Went to the Caps game. DC had a serious "Last group of people on earth" feel to it due to the snow it had. I've never seen the city so empty. Home by 11 asleep by Midnight. Yay.

Love that feeling - we used to get it in Buffalo every 3 years or so with the snow, it's a peaceful desolate feeling

im sad we missed it in the roc. i like the feeling too. seems like your trapped in your own little world.

i really really liked it when i was getting high. just seemed so surreal sitting around puffing a fat one.

but still on the sober tip is cool.

Stoned out walking around in the snow in the middle of the night is awesome... that brings back some awesome memories of mushrooms and weed and the cool desolate "walking on the moon" feeling with falling ice patterns and the muffled fresh snow steps....

Of course I sort of abused that privilege a bit, you know, by drinking enough booze to pickle an elephant and usually wrecking a car or breaking somebodies dreams.

I always started out getting high innocently enough... it's kind of fucked up being an alcoholic.

I'm not really sure if I liked it or not. It was kind of eerie. At one point we literally didn't see anyone else for two blocks, no cars, no people, no nothing. If you've ever been to DC (especially on a friday night) then you would understand how bananas it was.
