I found a short animated clip of it on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuxrQBFjRqM); is it official? And is there a full version? And does anyone know where it originated?
Thanks

Its the animated intro to the Skills To Pay The Bills VHS. There's not a longer version. I thought this was major common knowledge, but then again VHS kinda died out a while back.
I ordered a cap from Grand Royal back in 95/96 with the elephant(Brooklyn Dust Logo). Cool hat, but it looked huge on my noggin.
It was done by by artist, Todd James/Reas AOK.

That elephant shoulda' had a name and a new show on Adult Swim called Brooklyn Dust. A stoned elephant coulda' made for great television... with all his little buddies: tough guy, heart attack man, mark on the bus, sloppy drunks, little buddy,... hmmm... spike jonze and hanna barbera should get on this! )
Seriously...
Biz could play the main character.

That song was a B-Side on the What Cha Want single. Here's the full version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXEtqXcGZLo
The cartoon on youtube is from the intro to the "Skills to Pay the Bills" VHS, which, consequently, did not have the full version of that song on there. It just has a short clip from the song for the intro to the tape.
Then, when the "Sabotage" VHS came out, that VHS tape had a video for the full version of Skills to Pay the Bills on it.
Confused yet?
To make shit more fun, Max TanOne just recently put out a remix of Skills to Pay the Bills that had an extra verse on it.
Anyway, the youtube clip I just posted was the full version of the song.

and if we wanna keep listing even more, it's also a Pass The Mic B-side. By the way, while we're on this topic, does anyone know where the Shazam! Mike D. and AdRock remixes came from?

My VCR finally died and my Skills to Pay the Bills VHS is not in good enough shape (has been played hundreds of times) to convert to DVD. Is there a place to download the entire thing? If not, I'm going buy a new one just so I can convert it. And does anyone know why this was never released on DVD or Blu-Ray?

so, my favorite VHS tape .. sitting right next to Live at Pompeii ..
I know I have mentioned before, the day the VHS was released I went and picked up 2 copies. The back side had a white sticker over the back with printing on the sticker. I assume a mistake was made on the first print. Anyway, I still have one with the sticker on the back and one that does not that I picked up later.
Any story on the white sticker on the back of the first VHS tapes I got?

I think it was just that the majority of the material was on the anthology dvd. I really would love to see some more bboys blu rays in the future.
