Recently I requested the application details for a job (pretty close to being my ideal job at this point in life) via email as it was advertised on the word wide web.
The response came attached with application form and person specification within about 30 minutes and the HR lady who sent the email said that application could be returned via email.
Today I emailed the completed application form, along with my CV and letter of application to the aforementioned HR lady at about 10.50am. I have not had any response and I am now wondering whether it sent properly at all.
My question is: what is the etiquette in this situation? Do I email and say straight up "did you get my email? Let me know kthnx." Or perhaps I resend the attachments and say "I'm not sure if this reached you I was having problems with my internets." I don't want to seem like a dunce who can't work computers and sends stupid amounts of email - but I would have thought a simple "Thankyou for your application" would have been returned to me, especially considering the swift response upon my initial enquiry - and the subsequent unprompted sending of amended details midweek.
