I may go the Florida with 3 or 4 friends to golf in a few weeks. My old lady's cunting me out and acting miserable for going, or even thinking about going. Is this healthy?

I invited her initially, but she has school, so she cannot go. Is that my fucking fault?

She's probably thinking that you may visit a titty bar after the 19th hole

Why you men date women who won't allow you time with your friends I will never understand. I see nothing wrong with a trip with friends...she needs to get over it.

I went to some titty bars in Florida. They are good. Better than British titty bars and that is the only other reference I have.

now instead of 4 or 5 days golfing, what if it was a week at an all-inclusive resort in the Carribean?

I'm away from my fiance for 2-3.5 months at a time.

Therefore, I cannot relate to this thread!

the golf trip is fine, going to the Caribbean is just mean.

The boyfriend I had 5 years ago went on a two week road trip just him and his dog, and didn't tell me he was leaving until a couple days before. By the time he came back, I'd decided to break up with him. We didn't even have much of a discussion. He came back, acted like nothing had happened, we went to see Garden State and he couldn't stop laughing about the masturbating dog. went back to his place and he immediately got on the internet to look at bass guitars. and I was done.

My old lady was pretty pissed with me after I went on a 3 week Mediterranean cruise last summer with a few buddies, two of whom have vaginas. I was like get over it already. She eventually got over it.

I think going where ever with whoever is fine. I can see there might be issues of trust or not being included in certain activities - which Fern here has since he asked her.

If the issues do exist then they exist in all aspects of the relationship not when you are apart.

it's hard to be on either side of it as I have been on both sides. Mostly on the side she's on.

I think it's natural to be a bit bummed or jealous about your s.o. going on a trip without you. But if you have other, very important obligations, you shouldn't hold the other person back.

As others said, if it happens on a regular basis that's kind of lame, as you should at least make the effort to try and make plans during school breaks and the like. Or if it was a particular trip you knew for a fact she has been wanting to take for a long time yet made the plans anyhow when she can't go, that's bad too.

But this trip seems like something that's not that big of a deal. It'd be nice if she could go, she can't because she has priorities. That's her choice of course AND it's a smart one to make. She shouldn't be giving you shit. She should tell you to have fun, give you a kiss, and wave happily as you leave.

because the caribbean is awesome, and it's mean to go when you know the lady can't but wants to.

I actually think it's totally fine to go on a trip with friends, though. I was just trying to be funny.

There is nothing funny about the Caribbean.
